Field Periods
Keuka College is widely known for their Field Periods. Field Periods help students gain experience in the field in which they are studying. Four Field Periods are required in order to graduate and are usually completed over winter or summer break. Each Field Period requires 120 hours of on-site experience and 20 hours of reflection. We reflect by writing daily journals, creating documentation unique to our experience and also writing a summary paper, compiling all of our thoughts an knowledge that we gained during out Field Period.
"Experience is the teacher of all things."

Moe's Southwestern Grill
Over the 2020-2021 winter break there were not many options for Field Periods. Many business were closed or were not able to allow me to complete my Field Period there due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I was able to find an opportunity in the food industry at Moe's Southwestern Grill where I gained many new skills.
